Full demolition means subfloor, walls and roof (m2) stripped back to soil. Note: Light demolition for internal renovations (eg strip out) are already included in the renovation rates and therefore not allocated as demolition.
Apply demo to each level of the building. That is, for ground floor demo add that m2, then do the same for an elevated floor if being demolished.
Please remember – If being demolished by machine, halve the total m2 being demolished.
Demolition of light weight building such as carports, verandas or decks do not need to be included in the demolition calculation.
Garages with walls & concrete slab should be included in demolition.
Removal of pavers for outdoor areas can be added as an extras allowance.
