Glass Windows or Doors, Openings

    1. Standard Window Inclusions
ProCalc’s base pricing assumes windows meet a standard specification:

    *Glazing: Double-glazed

    *Frames: Timber, Aluminium, or PVC

*Internal Furnishings: Standard window furnishings (blinds, curtains) are included. Their value is managed by the “Client Design Source” variable.

    1. Exclusions & Manual Adjustments
The following items are not included in the standard rate and must be handled separately as an Extra or PS Allowance:

Non-Standard Glazing: Single or triple glazing.

    Non-Standard Frames: Steel frames.

External Attachments: Window awnings, security screens, or decorative shutters.

To adjust for single glazing: Deduct $300/m² of glass. You can do this by entering a negative line item in the “Extras/PS Items” section (e.g., for 10m² of glass, enter -3000).

    1. How to Measure
Standard Windows/Doors: Measure the total square meters (m²) of the opening.

Full-Height Glazing: For floor-to-ceiling glass walls, count their length as part of your “Structural Wall Lengths” input instead of measuring them here.
